Meet the Team
Starting with Toni Maldonado, the owner and Executive Director of DignityFirst Health at Home, our organization is one of the largest home health agencies serving the Greater Denver metro area. Our team has been serving clients of all ages since 2011. We provide non-medical in home care, from just a few hours a week, up to 24 hours a day. We offer affordable and high quality in-home care for our clients, plus peace of mind for families.
TONI MALDONADO, CSA
OWNER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Toni became involved in home health care in 2011 with a home health agency franchise. In 2016 Toni branched out and rebranded the franchise to DignityFirst Health at Home. Toni brings 30 years of healthcare support and senior-level management expertise along with her passion for client care and service excellence to the organization and her clients.
Previously, Toni worked as a manager of medical staff services until she launched her privately owned clinical documentation company. In 2000, she sold her company to MedQuist, a leading provider of clinical documentation products and services. Toni ultimately served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Customer Support Services, with responsibility for global service delivery, client care management, client-facing technical support, and implementations. In 2011, Toni decided to leverage her healthcare experience coupled with her entrepreneurial background, to join move into providing home health services.
Toni majored in business and accounting at New Mexico State University. In her off time, Toni enjoys outdoor activities including snowmobiling, hiking, and camping with her family. She also takes pleasure in creative cooking, especially with spicy foods. She and her family also enjoy volunteering in the community.
LISA WEINHOLD, RN, BSN
CARE MANAGER
Lisa joined the organization in 2011 as a Geriatric Care Manager. As a registered nurse, she brings over 20 years of nursing to our organization. Previously, Lisa worked as an emergency room (ER) nurse as well as a director of nursing. She dealt primarily with elderly patients, focusing on their needs while in the ER and ensuring a smooth transition from the hospital back to the patient’s living environment. Lisa received her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix and has taught nursing at Metro State College in Denver, Colorado. In her capacity as a nurse educator for the emergency room, Lisa provided continuing education regarding age specific needs, for the geriatric population.
Lisa enjoys spending time with her six children and their families. She enjoys relaxing by creating jewelry made out of beads and wire. Lisa and her husband volunteer within her church and community. She also studies and works with essential oils as an alternative therapeutic solution.
ROSLYN PAINE, MSW, LSW
CARE MANAGER
Roslyn joined the organization in October 2013. She has over eighteen years of post-graduate experience, initially as a Medical Social Worker for Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, then later as a Care Manager for a home health agency Chicago. In 2007, she relocated to the East Coast and continued her career in Geriatric Care Management. In late 2012, Roslyn and her family moved to the greater Denver area where she began serving as a volunteer support group facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter.
After earning her Bachelors in Anthropology with a Minor in Italian from Indiana University, Roslyn then earned her Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in clinical practice from the University of Chicago. She currently is an Affiliate Faculty Member at the Metropolitan State University of Denver where she teaches classes related to Healthcare Social Work and Geriatrics. Roslyn has also taught at the University of Denver. She enjoys swimming for a Masters Swim Team, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
